Flow Rail – Product Overview
Flow rail, also known as skatewheel rail or gravity conveyor track, is a gravity-operated slide device used in shelving and conveyor systems. It typically consists of an aluminum or steel profile with rows of small wheels mounted inside.
When installed at a slight angle on a rack, the rail allows cartons or plastic totes to move forward automatically by gravity. This design supports First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory flow: products placed at the rear slide to the front without manual pushing or pulling.
